Aberdeen based creative marketing agency Covey McCormick has reported a £250,000 increase in business in 2009, despite difficult trading conditions.
The new wins include a contract with AGR Petroleum Services to handle their marketing requirements worldwide.
The agency won this business against stiff competition from two New York agencies, including an agency that handles Microsoft’s business.
AGR Petroleum Services’ Vice President of Strategic Communications, Torund Diane Bryhn said, “We were looking for an agency who could look after all our marketing requirements globally and who understood our business.
“AGR Petroleum Services’ employees overwhelmingly supported Covey McCormick who received 73% of the vote. Their work was clean, strong and simple with a keen ability to communicate the company’s message in a clear and concise manner.”
Malcolm McGee, Account Director at Covey McCormick said, “This is an important win for us and is a reward for all our hard work over the last year. We have developed several new business streams, particularly in website design and marketing, and have won over £250,000 of new business in the last nine months in spite of the current economic conditions.
“Being appointed to handle AGR’s worldwide creative marketing requirements proves that Aberdeen agencies have the expertise and creative ability to compete with some of the biggest agencies on the world stage,” said Malcolm, “we will be looking to grow the business and hire more people as a result of this win.”
Covey McCormick is celebrating its twenty first year in business and is one of Aberdeen’s longest established marketing services agencies. Covey McCormick is based at Bon Accord House on Riverside Drive.
